We were hired to design a two-story minimalist style villa. The building’s exterior characteristics are determined by the beautiful natural surroundings. The terrace protrudes from under a canopy of tall trees and the inner parts of the building extend into outer space giving a unique connection between the built and natural environment. Exteriors and interiors – due to the boundary of the Hungarian house porch analogy – link to each other by transitional zones. The compact living spaces reflect the modern people’s relationship to nature in a self-explanatory way. The building and the design were done in collaboration with Nartarchitects Studio.
